The situation is much worse than we are told by those in power and much worse than the day to day discussion in the media would suggest.
The need to take action on climate is more urgent and more immediate than ever. The measures currently being taken at the national level – and even the best plans, currently being floated at the international level – are quite inadequate to meet the current level of threat.

The Nibiru cataclysm is a supposed disastrous encounter between the Earth and a large planetary object (either a collision or a near-miss) which certain groups believe will take place in the early 21st century. Believers in thisdoomsday event usually refer to this object as Planet X or Nibiru. The idea that a planet-sized object will collide with or closely pass by Earth in the near future is not supported by any scientific evidence and has been rejected aspseudoscience and an internet hoax by astronomers and planetary scientists.
For some time there has been a mysterious bright light on the horizon western sky and according to Skeye and Stellarium, no stars or planets in that area. Brilliant mysterious light in the western night sky.
Speculation has inferred that this could be a large comet or possibly an alien mothership. It could even be Hercólubus. Scientists talk of the planet Hercolubus (Planet X) and the first of them was the Chilean Carlos Muñoz Ferrada astronomer (1909-2001). Carlos Muñoz Ferrada died in October 2001 at the age of 92 years.
His astronomical and geophysical predictions made him famous, with many of its predictions of earthquakes and tsunamis coming true.
Carlos Muñoz Ferrada started talking about the planet Hercólubus in 1940, ie 43 years before the famous article on Planet X which appeared in the US newspaper The Washington Post in 1983.
It is very remarkable that Carlos Muñoz Ferrada speaks of a giant planet-comet.
Planet because it has the mass of a planet and comet because it has the tail of a comet and because it has the elliptical orbit of a comet.

Caltech researchers announced the findings at the American Astronomical Society’s Division for Planetary Sciences meeting Wednesday — nine months after the group initially reported about the massive planet lurking at the outer reaches of our solar system.

In 2004 NASA recorded the biggest Pulsar wave to come in contact with our atmosphere in human recorded history. Scientists detected a flash of light from across the Galaxy so powerful that it bounced off the Moon and lit up the Earth’s upper atmosphere. The flash was brighter than anything ever detected from beyond our Solar System and lasted over a tenth of a second. NASA and European satellites and many radio telescopes detected the flash and its aftermath on December 27, 2004. The scientists said the light came from a “giant flare” on the surface of an exotic neutron star, called a magnetar. The apparent magnitude was brighter than a full moon and all historical star explosions. The light was brightest in the gamma-ray energy range, far more energetic than visible light or X-rays and invisible to our eyes.
Such a close and powerful eruption raises the question of whether an even larger influx of gamma rays, disturbing the atmosphere, was responsible for one of the mass extinctions known to have occurred on Earth hundreds of millions of years ago. Also, if giant flares can be this powerful, then some gamma-ray bursts (thought to be very distant black-hole-forming star explosions) could actually be from neutron star eruptions in nearby galaxies.

Earth does not always spin on an axis running through its poles. Instead, it wobbles irregularly over time, drifting toward North America throughout most of the 20th Century (green arrow). That direction has changed drastically due to changes in water mass on Earth.
Droughts are causing Earth to wobble on its axis, according to new research.
Scientists have long known that the axis on which the planet spins is prone to wavering, but some of the reasons have escaped understanding.
But researchers at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory say droughts and heavy periods of rain in different places around the planet are causing Earth to shake in space.
“We are going through this massive global-scale climate change, to such a degree that the change in climate has been strong enough to affect the rotation of such a giant planet,” said study co-author Surendra Adhikari of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.
Since 2000, the Earth’s axis has jumped eastward by about 7 inches a year, a “massive swing,” Adhikari said. Another pattern of wobbling that occurs every six to 14 years has been vexing scientists for more than a century. The researchers examined both in their study.
The movements of the Earth’s axis are crucial to understand, since they affect the performance of satellites and global positioning systems. The polar axis also could become a powerful indicator for scientists studying climate change, Adhikari said.
Mr Beckwith confirmed the changes would usher in a sustained period of “climate system mayhem” which could prove difficult to resolve.
He said: “Our climate system behaviour continues to behave in new and scary ways that we have never anticipated, or seen before.
“Welcome to climate chaos. We must declare a global climate emergency.
“The behaviour of the jet stream suggests massive hits to the [global] food supply and the potential for massive geopolitical unrest. There’s very strange things going on on planet Earth right now.”
There are two forms of jet streams – polar and subtropical – and the northern and southern hemispheres have one of each.
The streams are the products of atmospheric heating by solar radiation and kept in place by the force of inertia.
And there is no big problem over what we could or should be doing right now, either internationally or nationally – there is just a lack of will. The latter (‘national’) category is the easier because it does not require the agreement of other countries and there is plenty that we could be doing.
The Climate Emergency should be the overriding priority of every politician and to which all available human and material resources should be immediately directed. Those in power, however, are not currently acting with anything approaching the degree of urgency and resolution required by the circumstances – until they do it is the duty of each and every one of us to do our utmost to influence them to do so. If they will not declare a Climate Emergency and act accordingly then we have to do everything possible to communicate that sense of emergency to others and to push for the action that it demands.

First, I would like to say that I am a fan of this website. But this article is, pun intended, all over the map. While I acknowledge climate change, mixing that into a planet x disaster just seems ludicrous. If planet x swings by for a close call, it won’t matter whether we have smuggy grey skies or pristine blue. We will still be toast. Same goes for the earth wobble.
I suggest that you separate your concerns for the environment from a planet x event scenario. I don’t believe that mixing the two issues compounds the strength of either.
I’ll be as brief as possible because the topic itself demands long explaining.
First, one has to begin reading Jim McCanney’s work on the electrical nature of the solar system. Having been familiar with McCanney and his work for over a decade I can attest to its validity as I have seen myself how comets react and that he explains it all clearly. IF a large body comet happens to pass through the solar system, under the right conditions, it could do near irreparable damage to earth. It has in the past. Read Velikovsky’s work as well.
Next, and having to involve the prophetic angle, is Veronica Leuken.
Veronica claimed for many years to be recieving messages from the Holy Mother Mary concerning the wrath of God upon earth.
What links these two seemingly obtuse people is this. McCanney explains and supports his work on the electrical nature of the solar system. Things are not what NASA says they are. Here, please take note on the word ‘electrical’.
In the simplest of explanations, a comet can and will cause a electrical discharge throughout the system affecting every planet. So much so, that a human would be able to witness said discharge without having to use optical assistance.
His “plasma discharge theory” was first written in 1977 while he was at Cornell. This “theory” is now taught in Russian universities. Not USA.
In 1977, Veronica spoke of a vision wherein she witnesses a “huge ball of fire” coming towards earth. She then explains The Holy Mother told her it is the Great Ball of Redemption brought about by God towards humans fallking away from His Word.
In sequence with ths first vision, she sees another, along with a description from the The Holy Mother wherein it is spoken “see how the nine discharge”. Meaning the nine planets being affected by this large body comet.
Notice that in 1977 is when veronica had her vision; and in 1977 McCanney first wrote, as a thesis, his theory on the electrical,nature of the solar system. Neither knew the other. Neither had any connection to each other.
One a man of science. The other a woman of Faith. And yet, in the same year, they BOTH speak of how a large body comet causes a “discharge” of the solar plasma.
Oddly enough, Veronica states she was told that the world would not know of this large comet, this Ball of Redemption, until three days before it caused MAJOR affect to earth.
A large body comet was kept secret by NASA just a few years ago. NOT until it was VISIBLE IN THE AFTERNOON DAY LIGHT OVER NEW YORK. AND, was visible for three days before it went behind the sun.
Now it most accounts of Near Earth Asteroids, we are told the distance is far enough not to be a concern. (based on McCanney’s work this is wrong),
however, what is NEVER spoken about is miles per hour of boht the earth and the object. Take into account the speed of earth along its orbit and the point of a large object where it crosses the orbital plane and you will discover that near misses are not measured in miles but in minutes.
Three time in the last 12 yrs we missed an encounter by less then 20 minutes. Think about that
